Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept card payments.
If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Price of Goods
The price listed on the website will be stipulated at the time when you place your order on the website. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our Supplier’s price, or the imposition of any new taxes or duties or if due to an error or omission the price of the product(s) on the website is wrong including but not limited to courier, shipping and/or carriage charges.
The prices quoted are recommended prices. Price is correct at the time of going to press.
Website Usage
You agree to abide by all applicable local, state, national and international laws and regulations and are solely responsible for all acts or omissions that occur under your usage, including the content of your transmissions through the website. All information, designs, drawings and other specifications provided on the website are the exclusive property of Mooney Boats. Any copying, transmission or re-transmission of same require the prior written approval of Mooney Boats.
Delivery
We aim to deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you on the day of purchase (if ordered before 2pm) and if ordered after 2pm we will normally send your order to the day after the purchase. International orders are generally delivered in under 7 days.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
We aim to deliver next day in Ireland by Courier. We deliver to other parts of the world and delivery charges are confirmed before payment is processed.
Advertising on Website
We reserve the right at all times to place advertisements and promotions on the website. Advertisers and sponsors on the website are solely responsible for complying with all local, national, state and international laws (where relevant) and exclude all liability howsoever caused therefrom.
Tax Charges
All orders are inclusive of VAT @ 23%
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Privacy Policy
Mooney Boats do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. Returns Policy
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 14 working days for a full refund, minus the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.
If a product is damaged or faulty, please contact us and we will organise a replacement or refund (excluding delivery costs). Any claim cannot be entertained once the order has been signed for. Any damage must be specified on the delivery document and the parcel must be refused.
Specification
Many of the products are of a technical nature and it is not practical to publish detailed specifications of all the products and keep specifications completely up to date. All descriptive matters, drawings, pictures, colours, specifications and advertising on the website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the products.
Safety
If any manuals or safety instructions are provided with the products you agree to read and follow carefully all the terms contained therein at all times. Any information contained on the website is not meant to be comprehensive and if you are inexperienced in using the products are or unsure of your abilities, you should always seek expert advice and assistance.

We accept no liability in relation to any of the above other than as may be provided for under your statutory rights.

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform any of our obligations under these terms and conditions which is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to any force majeure incident. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision to the terms of use shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision unless acknowledged and agreed to by us in writing.

You acknowledge that content, including but not limited to text, software, music, sound, photographs, video, graphics or other material contained in either sponsor advertisements or e-mail-distributed, commercially produced information presented to you by the website, by us, or our advertisers or other content providers, is protected by copyrights, trademarks, services marks, patents or other proprietary rights and laws.
Laws
The terms of use shall be governed by and instructed fully in accordance with the laws of Ireland. You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts located in Ireland. If any provision(s) of the terms of use is held by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, then such provision(s) shall be construed, as nearly as possible, to reflect the intention of the parties with the other provisions remaining in full force and effect.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
